In particular I am looking for My Great great Grandfather James Torbet from somewhere in Ireland do not have a date for death he was born circa 1842 in Ireland wife was Ann McElroy son John Torbet may be more children I do not know.

Hello Hudggy,

Any particular dead fisherman ? There are many lists of sunken ships. Some of them
may show the names of passengers. Dead fisherman ? I doubt you will find such a list.

Best Wishes. Christopher

Hudggy, You have serious problems.   >:(

I consulted http://www.failteromhat.com/griffiths.php and found one person of the name Torbet. That was Ezekiel Torbet, from Clogharevan, Village of Bessbrook, Killevy. Armagh. I also consulted http://scripts.ireland.com/ancestor/surname/index.cfm. There was no return. Both these were for the time span 1848 - 64 Griffith's Valuation of Ireland.
