Tracing Irish Ancesters - Help please

Hello

Can anyone help me please as I cannot find ant reference to this family in the 1881 census for the UK and am assuming they were in Ireland about that time

The following couple were probably married in Ireland aaaround 1871 to 1885 and later lived in England Burton on trent

I have a Susan Gretton Born  1856 (Ireland) married to a John Gretton born 1850 (Stretton Burton on Trent England) an know they had children born in Ireland

Children were:

Daisy Gretton born 1875 Ireland
Ernest Gretton born 1873 Ireland
Patrick Gretton born 1884 Ireland

You can search the marriage indexes for them. Check the reference matches for each name and that’s the right page. These are available at the Dublin GRO or on film at your local family history centre. (Church of the latter day saints)

Then you have to take the reference to the Dublin GRO for a copy of the register entry.
