Hi...

I'm new to the military scene, and this is my first query into the field.

I just discovered that an ancestor of my husband's, one James Furey/Fury, was a private soldier in the 108th Regiment in Fulwood, Lancashire in 1881, but he (and most of his regiment) were born in Ireland. Is there any way to get ahold of his military records?
