Dear all,
Tonight's batch of updates to the Cheshire BMD site are:

1,999 births added for the Runcorn sub-district (1916-20).
1,499 births added for the sub-district of Altrincham (1927-30)

19,479 deaths for Ashton Town (1890-1901) and Hyde (1837-1853)

5,275 marriages added, covering:
Tranmere, St Catherine (1922-1932)
Tranmere, United Reformed Church (Old Chester Road) (1929-1935)
Birkenhead, Church of Christ (Park Road South) (1927-1935)
Birkenhead, St Andrew's Presbyterian Church (Conway Street) (1930-1943)
Birkenhead, Civil Marriage (1910-1926)

The observant amongst you may have noticed that the Cheshire announcements
usually come from Brett Langston rather than me. Brett has for a variety of
reasons stepped back from the BMD project. He has not disappeared
totally from
the world of Family History but his contribution to the Cheshire BMD
site has
been immense and deserves a mention. Many aspects of the current BMD sites
are due to Brett's design, for example the vast levels of district and
subdistrict
details on the Cheshire site, and the whole project would not have started
without him.   A very big public thank you for your past help !
