Agnes CRAIG help pls
« on: Thursday 19 August 04 09:15 BST (UK) »
:)  Hi everyone, looking for help pls re Agnes Craig, born 1791 Ireland.  She marr Andrew McWilliam Portpatrick, Wigtownshire, Scotland.  I have no other info on her so any help greatfully appreciated.  The IGI website has them as having 5 children all born in Portpatrick between 1816-1826.
cheers,
Julie

Hi Julie

Sorry we haven't been able to help you so far on this one.

Have you made any progress,  or do you have any further details that could help someone to find what you are looking for?

In the mean time the following resources may be of help to you.

The General Register Office of Ireland

The Public Record Office of Northern Ireland

The National Library of Ireland

Perhaps you would like to have a look at these resources to see if there is anyting that might help you.

Hi Ticker, I don't seem to be having any luck with my elusive Agnes.  The info I gave you previously I got from the 1851 Wigtownshire census.  Was there a 1841 census do you know?
Cheers,
Julie

Hi Julie

Yes there was a census in 1841 - see http://www.proni.gov.uk/records/census19.htm for details.

Best wishes
