1851 census lookup please

trying to find a Spencer Pryer in 1851 he was born in Norfolk South Lynn in 1839. I know that he is in Norfolk in 1841 but i cannot find him again until 1881 when he is a soldier in wrexham.
Any help appreciated.

Hi Reedy - Is it possible that he was a 'career' man in the Army and overseas at time of census, have you thought of trying for an Army record for him.

he was in fact in the army but with him only being 12 in 1851 i thought he might be on a census somewhere.
i have his regiment and his number but who do i sned to for the information
