thanks Liz.  John  Hamilton  born  1862  was  my  Grandfather.  He  married  a  Margaret  Nicolson  and  one  of  their  children  was  my  Father,  Robert  Hamilton  born  30/06/1912  @  8,  Ann  Street  Cowcaddens  Glasgow.  My  dad  had  siblings  called  Archibald,  John  Violet  William,  And  Charlotte.  He  got  married  and  had  two  daughters  called  Martha  and  Margaret.  He  separated  from  his  wife (name  unknown)  and  met  my  Mum,  Jeannie  Bennett (nee  Brannigan).  They  had  two  daughters  one  being  myself  and  my  sister  Anne,  who  died  in  1999.  He  then  left  my  Mum  and  went  to  stay  in  Kendal  where  he  got  married  again  and  had  a  son  called  Ian  born  round  about  1958.  I  have  not  had  any  success  in  trying  to  trace  Ian.  The  last  address  I  had  for  my  dad  was  48,  the  Broadings,  Kendal,  Cumbria. 

I  would  really  appreciate  it  if  you  could  try  to  find  out  the  birth  dates  of  my  Dad's  siblings'.  There  was  a  a  girl  called  Theresa.  Thanks  a  lot  for  the  previous  inf.  Regards  Susan.
