Mary Mc Mc Connell

could also come under Connell

there is a

Mary Connell aged 36 born ireland living in Bothwell in the 1851 index.

She appears to be with
Owen Connell aged 42 born Ireland
Bridget Connell aged 15
Catherine Connell aged 1 and
Patrick Connell aged 24 all born ireland

No trace of Michael

There is a McConnell family living in Bothwell but this is Anthony and helen with children helen and John

There lies the mystery

Both Michael and Mary Mc CONNELL appear in 1881 census, lived in chapellhall/calderbank with daughters Bridget,Mary,John and nephew James-Have traced a son Michael who died 1870/71-have his death cert- his name is connell-cant find them on 1871 census -or it would seem 51/61

Could be a spelling variation ?
