Richard WOOD born Taunton

Trying to trace any details at all re Richard Wood who appeared to have been born in Taunton around 1812/1813 (date a bit uncertain!) - his father was Joseph Wood, a weaver. Richard married in 1850 in Blandford Forum Dorset but if anyone can trace him in either Somerset or Dorset in 1841 as well, that would be great!
Any help at all on this one would be appreciated as I have him from 1850 to his death in 1891 in Blandford but trying to find any info prior to 1851 would be really welcome. Thank you
