Great Aunt Jane

Justices of the Peace/WILLIAMS /death by choking
« on: Sunday 23 March 08 11:24 UTC (UK) »

Hi

I have a family story that says, my poss GGGrandfather  WILLIAMS was a Judge and that he died when he choked on a cigar whilst trying to jump a gate.

I am aware that there was a Worcester family of Williams's in the 1800s, 3 of which were JPs. Does anyone have any information on this family. One of the JPs was  John Williams of Pitmaston, a well renowned fruit grower, information on him would also very much be appreciated.
