Look up death of Letitia Amelia Bolton

Hi all,

I haven't had any success tracking down the death record for my ggg-grandmother Letitia Amelia Bolton.  In 1871 census she was living in Llanrhydd, Denbighshire with her daughter Arabella Ewing.  She apparently died 29 May 1873 in "Nth Wales".  I'm interested in the information contained on her death certificate.

Would be most grateful if someboby could look up the local death register and confirm whether she died in Denbighshire and what the ref. number is for the register entry.

How about this death (suggesting a late re-marriage for change of name)? Does the birthdate fit?

Not sure where the Bolton came from

Well, that makes more sense then!  There's me searching fruitlessly for an old lady's marriage...

and I was looking  on the 1871 for a Letita Bolton - found her via the daughter!

She was there in 1861 as well

Husband was Edward Pilkington 66, Staff Surgeon ? , b. Ireland Co. Tyrone

Hi Gadget and Anna.

Oops!! I forgot to mention Letitia's married name.  I tend to think of her
under her maiden name of Bolton.  She was born in Ireland and was descended from the Boltons of Co. Louth.

She actually married twice.  First to Edward Eagle and then to Dr Edward Pilkington.  With Dr Pilkington and children she emmigrated to Tasmania, Aust.  Eventually settling in Wales.
