Good Afternoon,

I am having problems tracing James Snelling b1787 d1866 he is listed on one sensus as being born Nutfield and another Croydon, now although they are close i dont belive they can be confused.

James married Ann Butler b1797 in 1820 in Croydon. On the 1861 census James is listed as living with son Thomas b1842 and his wife Martha.

I have looked at familysearch.org but cant find james details, can anyone else help

regards

kevin

Hi
I don't know if you still use the site?
Your post came near the top of an internet search for Snelling Croydon.
James was my great great grandfather on my father's side, through Thomas and then Arthur to my Dad Stanley.
I assume James is an ancestor of yours, so Hello Cousin!
