Hi Smiley

There is a transcription service available in NSW - costs around AUD$17 - the transcription is emailed.
http://www.bdm.nsw.gov.au/familyHistory/howToSearch.htm#TranscriptionAgent

May I suggest you read Australian Resources at the top of the board - there is a board for NSW - lots of links.

May I suggest that you remove the names of any possible living people.
A link that includes the relevant advice from our moderator Smiley

There is this passenger record.

SHAW Amy 21 years, departed London on 5 August 1926 on the Barrabool for Melbourne.  Occupation Day girl.  Her last address in the UK was Holly Lodge, Main Road, Handsworth, Sheffield.  Country of future intended residence is Australia.

Please pm me if you would like further help with any possible living folks....the names of the children may be traceable on whitepages.

Cheers
Cando

Apologies Kris for duplicating information.  It will be wonderful when the red warning notices of interim postings is re-instated.

We have the correct passenger record for Ada SHAW - as from a previous post by Eric

Quote
Does anyone know when Holly Lodge on Handsworth Road, Sheffield was built. It is opposite what was Fisher sons, and Sibrays nurseries. The last time I saw it it was a church. But I remeber playing there as a child in the late 1930.s early war years. At that time it was owned by my grandparents.
