1901 census parish Bevington, Liverpool
« on: Monday 22 March 10 21:04 GMT (UK) »
Trying to establish the date when William O'Brien died. He was born 1854 and married Elizabeth Jane Chapman in 1874. The 1891 census registers William under reference RG12/2899 and gives details of his wife Elizabeth Jane Chapman and their 8 children.

Father James O'Brien - occupation carver and gilder. He was married to Arabella Phipps.

Would be grateful for any information.

Margaret

Hi,

Welcome to Rootschat  :D.

Which is the last census you have got him on?  Could you post the reference so we know we are looking at the right family?  If you have him in 1901, have you checked to see if he is still alive in 1911 or if his wife is a widow?  This will help narrow it down a bit.

Hi

I recall a post last week involving Arabella Phipps/James O'Brien on this board as it was me who found the marriage and census info.  Somebody else is researching the same family so to prevent any duplication,  I have sent a pm to Anne who posted last week and hopfully she will contact you

I would suggest you read the other post as it contains a lot of info
