COMPLETED Acaster Malbis marriage / Naburn baptism
« on: Thursday 06 May 10 15:13 BST (UK) »
The IGI shows a marriage on 30 Oct 1771 at Acaster Malbis of William Horsman and Eliz. Bradley.

In Jan 1772  there is a baptism at Naburn of a William, son of William Horsman.  In 1778 the Dade registers begin to show baptisms of children to William Horsman of Naburn,  and Elizabeth Chantry,  d/o Robert Chantry.

I cant find a marriage of William Horsman to Elizabeth Chantry.

Can anyone help resolve this,  by checking the PR entry for the marriage in 1771 - is it Eliz Bradley  or Chantry.

Likewise  are the baptisms at Naburn really Elizabeth Chantry  or is the wife Elizabeth Bradley.

I think it would be best to look at the PR's rather than any transcripts.

Many Thanks

Sue
