Identifying Uniforms and Location
« on: Thursday 15 July 10 15:32 BST (UK) »
I have found this photo among some other family stuff and think one of these soldiers may be my grand uncle who was in the London Regiment during WWI.  He returned from France in July 1917 for officer training and was commissioned and sent back to France with the 18th Battalion in December 1917.  He died in the trenches on 2 June 1918.  This photo could be in France or it could be during his officer training in Oxford.  Can anyone identify either the place or the uniforms please?

Hi, you might have more luck with this if you post it on the Armed Forces section of this site.
Good Luck
