Your very welcome.  Unfortunately females are harder to follow and unlike the UK, the USA does not have a BMD register as such.  What is available varies State to State - County to County - there are no records for that time frame (that I am aware of) that would show us a marriage for your Alice.
If Ernest and Catherine died before approx 1962 then the SSDI would not show there deaths. However, I am still looking to see if I can find anything else which may help you.

This is the link for the SSDI but I cannot see Ernest listed on the birth date given on the WW2 Draft

Would you happen to have an exact date of birth for Catherine Bolito.  Came across this SSDI record which is for a Catherine Bolitho (slightly different spelling) with a 1893 birth date  ??? Could be a possibility

SSDI Record
Catherine Bolitho.  Born: 5 Oct 1893  - Died: 24 Apr 1989
Last Residence: 37311  Cleveland, Bradley, Tennessee.
SSN was issued in Pennsylvania (1953-1955)

Yes, I believe that is the correct death record for Catherine because a UK Incoming Passenger List for 15th May 1959 lists Catherine as 65 years old and the birth date is 5 th Oct 1893. She was travelling from Montreal. Quebec to Southampton on The Queen Elizabeth.
Going to 23 Llanthewy St. Aberamon. Aberdare. Glam. S.Wales intending to stay for 5 months.
