Trying to trace my g grandfather who was married to Alice Raymont.
They lived in Cardiff. They had a don also called Frederick Hayes.

FreeBMD has a Frederick Raymond Hayes born in Dec 1903 in the Cardiff Reg. District (volume 11a page 46)

There is no record on FreeBMD of a Alice Raymont marrying him at any date anywhere but there is a record of a
Frederick R Hayes marrying a Honora Ring in Cardiff in Dec 1939 (volume 11a page 1302)

Honora Ring is my grandmother, her father in law (Frederick Raymont also) married Alice Raymont.

Possibly South Africa (the Boer war was 1899-1902)

I transcribed what the census showed, but yes, I imagine he was in the Boer War.

Possible for Frederick from 1881 and/ or coincidence considering the address
