Family tree on anc. shows John and Sara with 4 children ( no names) 2 sons and 2 daughters.
Also states Sara born December 17, 1912 in Hamburg, Germany and died February 5, 1988 in Richmond, British Columbia.

If you do not have access to ancestry, you can view the family trees or make contact on the sister site www.mundia.com

The Edmonton Journal for 7 July 1965 in the Google News Archives has an obit for a 50 year old Nellie Dalmer, formerly of Leduc and Edmonton, who passed away in Vancouver on 5 July 1965.  Her sisters are listed as Mrs. Natalie Woodhouse, Mrs. Sahra (sic) Brown and Mrs. Pearl Keith and her brothers as Emil, Ben and Herb Rosentreter.  Although Pearl's surname is a bit puzzling, Nellie could well  be another sister.
Here is the link - you will need to find page 52 of the newspaper (page 56 of 68.)

another of my wife's great uncles was herbert Rosentreter who was mentioned as a brother to Nellie Dalmer (nee rosentreter) in the obit referred to earlier.
Any records that could be found for him would be appreciated. I have found refernce to a Herbert Adam Rosentreter born about 1920 and died in July 1998. can anyone in alberta check for an obit in the July 17th edition of The Edmonton Journal. these years are not available online and you need an EPL library card to access these databases
