henry edmunds

Can anyone help me find Henry Edmunds. He married a Beatrice Callow in 1922 in Cardiff and died in 1926. Beatrice went on to remarry. I can find info re his death but would like to know the name of his parents and where he came from. I know I will get some of this info off the marriage certificate but thought I would try the forum first.

Henry died age 24 - so he would have been born around 1902.

This birth looks likely (if we assume he was born in Glamorganshire!):

December qtr 1902
Cardiff district     vol 11a, page 308
Edmunds, Henry Daniel

So he missed the 1901 census, and we can't disclose details from the 1911 census (Rootschat policy re copyright and legal contracts).

You are going to need to buy a certificate!

But as KGarrad said you always need to get the birth certificate to confirm you have the correct family.

Thanks for looking. Checked 1911 census but unfortunately not my Henry. My Henry died in June 1926, and other than his marriage to Beatrice Callow in 1922 appears to be a mystery. One marriage certificate applied for

put some updated info on here but looks as if I now have two topics going on the same person about 7 topics apart. henry's father was also henry. henry snr was a bricklayer and henry jnr was a stoker born in 1900. possibly sister named violet edmunds and married at the parish church in roath cardiff on 3/12/1922. Will now make this my last post on this thread as it may get too confusing

I am still searching for my Henry. I keep coming back to a family Henry Edmunds and Lily Edmunds in 1911 Census living at 6 Deacon street in Glos. Henry was born in Navigation st. in Birmingham and lily was born in Bath.

This sort of fits in as my Henry's father was a Henry and I know he had two sisters, violet and Elizabeth. Have. Searched for details for Henry snr and lily but can't find anything. It does state on ancestry that Henry and lily we're married in 1897

Is there anyone with access to records anywhere else?
