Richard lloyd Thomas & Lily May Tennant

Hi All,
I wonder if anyone could do a look up for me? I am trying to do some family research into my great Uncle. his death certificate arrived this afternoon and I am none the wiser. He is :

Richard Lloyd Thomas born 10 April 1891 Wellington Shropshire.

Married Lily may Tennant  born 15 April 1904 Merthyr Married 1923 Merthyr (do not know the date)

I cannot find any children for them.

Richard died 12 June 1966. aged 76. They lived at 4 Glanaman Road Cwmaman Aberdare his  profession was a retired Colliery Haulier
the informant was a W.J Tennant of 34 Cardiff Road looks like Aldama ( do not know who This was)

Can anyone help with :
 date of Marriage
any ideas of where he could have worked
Where 34 Cardiff Road was.
were they on the voters lists.
Any help would do as I have been getting nowhere fast. i was told by family that he was a Policeman, so I cannot even go by family stories.

Di - wondering whether Aldama could be Aberaman - village near/on outskirts of  Aberdare and near Cwmaman. There is a Cardiff Road in the village

the WJ Tennant  is Lilys cousin  we have worked it out by personal message , but Diane is not interested in the Tennat Family.

Thank you Mabel,
The death cert is hard to read so I have put down what I thought it had said about the addresses. As i do not know that area at all I would say you are right.
The Tennant side is my Great Uncle's wife's side so I only want  to go a generation  or so back. but would love to know how WJ Tennant was the informent when Richards wife was still living in 1966. Lily did not die until 23 July 1974. Cardiff and I have worked out he was lily Thomas nee Tennant's cousin.
