Another Leighton Buzzard Lookup

Didn't want to hijack Dee's post on Leighton Buzzard so have started my own, but if possible I would love someone to have a look at my Grimshaw's in LB. No rush, just when time permits 

I have Caleb Grimshaw born (I imagine) circa 1770-5 married to Hannah Perrott or Parrott October 1790 with children
Elizabeth 1791
William 1794
Caleb 1797

would love any further information on any other LB Grimshaw's, but especially Caleb's parents or related marriages especially for William who married an Elizabeth (surname unknown) around 1820 (?).

 Went to L.B today.....

  Caleb Grimshaw (of BASSELL Yorks)
  married Hannah Parrott but she signed Perrot by lic.
    Oct 14 1790

  Found Eliz bap 30 Jan 1792
            Wm bap Aug 14 1794
    could not see Caleb....the name did not show up..

  Looked for Hannah's birth and that got complicated...

   1765 22 april  an   ANN  is bap da of Thos and Sarah Parrott but the only marriage in the time of parents I could find was Dan Parrott of Linslade who married Sarah Goodson.

  Leighton is classed now as Leighton /Linslade but Linslade is in Bucks so thats one for when I go to Milton Keynes library.

             So the hunt for Caleb moves north at least we found that out..

Tazzie you are a star!!!
Pretty sure I found a Caleb Grimshaw from Bossall not Bassell Yorks on the IGI months ago but couldnt match them up, it must be him, am so pleased!! Will have to go digging in my paper files . It is William I am related to so no big deal on the other Caleb . We knew this line would eventually end up in either Yorks or Lancs but didnt think we would crack it!!

  They had it written as Bassell  but would not have even heard of the place I suppose Bassell/Bossell with an accent.

Oh Tazzie, you have helped so much
Just looked on LDS site and am back straight away to definitely 1688 and have a name for the previous generation too, need a Yorks map to sort out which one of the now Jeremiah Grimshaws is mine in 1640-50. You have done good

Tazzie even more amazing, I went back to the much previously visited Grimshaw Origins website http://www.grimshaworigin.org/WebPages/EdwdDory.htm#Halstead and I can now place our family line in with the amazingly documented Grimshaws (a Quaker) family from Rawdon just outside Leeds. What luck from just a snippet of info The line on there goes back to 1559 . How incredible is that.

  Wow that is fantastic...Grimshaw is such a Northern name but to actually have the place in the index...it does not mention witnesses or parents..and in some cases does not even mention other villages omly those more local to Leighton ie Eaton Bray/ Heath/Wing..
