Stephen was a Hairdresser at the time he immigrated! I assume that would be his parents he was with in the 1940 listing.

Family surnames being researched ...
Crawford, Neilson, Lindsay, Reekie, Davidson
Drummond, Laing, Pearson, Tulloch ... will do for starters but there's a whole lot more!
