Not sure if I will still get it done as it is not the colour of a poppy that I
really like which is bright red.

That is what the front of the kit is but not inside.  :(

As Hubby brought me the kit and it cost £60 I ought to try.

Only got this far lol.

Quite a bit of work ahead then! I see what you mean about the colour, pity as it's an attractive design.

footymum, OP casalguidi hasn't been online since 1 Dec 2013,  :-\ I assumed it was an annual project though, with special significance now being the centenary.

I am afraid Mare that I will not get the x-stitch finished in time.

It will take me days to get the beads, wording framing, etc
done and I am exhausted lol.

I will finish it but not by 4th August unless a miracle happens.

Thank you both as you say Sarah excellent work done by all on Rootschat.

I am trying to find a video to show me how to attach the beads, I have been
trying for an hour with no success.

Much appreciated.

Edited beads now on frame and mount brought now for the words, just maybe.

I am nearly there Mare.

If Hubby takes time to help like he did with all the lettering we should make it.  :)
