Ballantyne's of Roxburghshire

Hi i need help going back a generation.

Im trying to trace back for 3rd Great Grandfathers parents.

My 3rd Great Grandfather was John Ballantyne b.1806 in Kelso, he went on to Marry Esther Lees in 1831.

The only info i have on his parents is that they were possibly called James Ballantyne and Helen Dean/Deans, but thats it, i have no dates or anything, im not even sure if the names are correct.

Can anyone help?

Scotlandspeople should have John's death which should give his parents if known to the informant.
