LAUGHLIN/LOUGHLIN Margaret, Castlewarren lookup.

Lott Laughlin was born January 1, 1839 in Castelwarren, Kilkenny.  His parents were Martin & Mary
and they all settled in Palo Alto County, Iowa. 

A Margaret Laughlin also traveled with this group to Iowa.  She was born about 1827.  Is it possible to see if/how she is related to Lott?

There is a detailed obituary for Lot here - http://www.iowaoldpress.com/IA/PaloAlto/1916/APR.html  It says his family first went to Worcester, Massachusetts and Elgin, Illinois before coming to Iowa. 

There is a biography of Edward Mahan, who married a Margaret Laughlin in Springfield, Massachusetts and they then moved to Kane County, Illinois (where Elgin is) before coming to Iowa.  http://iagenweb.org/boards/paloalto/biographies/index.cgi?read=122622

It looks like Edward, Margaret & family were living nearby the Laughlins in 1860 - http://genforum.genealogy.com/il/kane/messages/635.html

Considering that they seemed to follow the same path, perhaps Margaret was a sister of Martin.

Thank you, I have those sources (& more!), but they do not mention any relationship between Margaret & Martin.  I am hoping someone can do a look up in Castelwarren, or can point me towards an online source or local researcher.
