Isabella Orr b.1828

Hi, I'm trying to find any information on Isabella Orr.  She was born in Jan 1828 in Renfrewshire.

At some point she emigrated to USA, probably New York, as on the 1850 US census she is shown living with her & children husband Robert Denison.  I am assuming that she married around 1884 as this fits with her childrens ages, the first being born in 1885.

Any help would be appreciated.

Something a bit strange about the dates you are giving. She would have been 57 when she had her first child. You also tell us that she was living with her husband in 1850 but married him 34 years after that. Are you sure that you are not mixing up two different people?

Not having much luck finding records for them, but there is a tree on ancestry which has her husband as Robert Barton Denison, born in Herkimer, New York. Not sure how accurate that one is though as it has Isabella Orr as English rather than Scottish.

The only birth I could see was Isabella Orr 23/1/1828 Neilson Renfrewshire baptism 28/2/1828 Father James Orr mother Isabella Keir ....But this Isabella is still in the census for Scotland 1851 1861 ....Are you sure she was born in Scotland as it says England in several census forms
