Can you say who were the Licensees in 1851 and 1861?

I see that the K...d Arms was a Friary pub  ;D

It isn't that easy finding them earlier,  I have tried 'High Street'  but that brings up Old Woking and not Woking 'town'.

Woking: Town was not really used before the mid 1880īs and Woking village became Old Woking which makes the early researches harder than now.

Yes Rosie the K. Arms was a Friary house in my youth. The brewery has been swallowed as well but the Pub was still there in 2009. ;D ;D

Nov 1865, Henry Forester of the "Railway Hotel" Woking was fined "1 18s 6d for "Short Measures".

In July 1867, named as "Henry Foster, Landlord"

It seems that the Railway Hotels landlord changed often in the early years.

The Albion Hotel was built by Reuben Percy, he would have been related to John Percy of Feltham, the licensee in 1871 :-\ ???
