Thoms 1923 (my nearest to what you want) shows a George Williams as householder of No.12 George's Place while there are no Williams shown at Wellington Place/Street. The Place states that there are 6 small cottages while the Street has 2 demolished premises and one set in tenements.

Quaxer and eadaoin, thanks for your replies.
Alex and John James must have moved by 1922 then, had them down as living at Wellington in 1921.

Thanks again

Hi Shane thanks for that info. That is all my husbands ancestors alright!
James is his great grandad, William is his gr gr grandad and I think Charles is Williams's brother.
They all lived in and around the same area for years, and my husband only left for Meath 20 years ago when he married me :D

Thanks again

Hi all
I would also like help if possible on a search in the 1922 Thoms.
It is for either a John Farrell or a Samuel Mack in Dublin city.

All help much appreciated.  :)

It is for either a John Farrell or a Samuel Mack in Dublin city.

the only Mack I can see are
- Edward, Eustace St.
- Rev Alfred W, chaplain Royal Hospital Donnybrook, lived in Monstown

Farrell, John X 4
- saddlers in 4 Hawkins St
-  27 Synge St
- 44 Clonliffe Rd
- John Francis in 47 Leeson St Up

umpteen J Farrell

this list is only of fairly well-off people, small businesses etc.

If you knew where they lived (ish), you'd find more names on the street by street index, i think
