Wildmore Frog Hall - Church of St Peter
« on: Sunday 09 March 14 03:48 GMT (UK) »
Hi

Can someone please tell how I can find out if Monument Inscriptions are available for St Peters church, Wildmore.  I understand that it is also known as Wildmore Frog Hall (wonder why? )

Great x 3 Grandfather Mapletoft Holmes was buried there on the 9th December 1840.  FreeReg shows that his abode was Thornton le Fen and he was a Farmer.  I think his wife Ann was also buried there in 1872.

I'm hoping that there may be a MI for them and that it might contain additional information.

Thanks

Lincolnshire Archives have some copies of monumental inscriptions as do the Lincoln Central library, they might be able to do a look up for you.
