That is really interesting as Thomas Ferris left Castlecomer (Ardra) to emigrate to Australia in 1926 aged 16 ! (His older brother , John did the same ten years earlier also aged 16 and although I found John in a family tree in Australia and was able to copy his details, Thomas had disappeared with no trace so thanks for that !
The last information I had for Thomas was that he sailed on the ship "Esperance Bay" bound for New South Wales on 25th May 1926.
