I am very light on for solid proof, hence the reason i'm looking, but would appear I am descended from their second son Charles, born Redruth, died Long Gully, Bendigo.

My g/father was Frederick James Allen b 1883 s/o Charles Allen & Elizabeth Adamson. Charles Allen  b1849  is s/o William Allen & Jane Lance who married 21 june 1847.
With ref to prev info above I agree with 1851 redruth census for william allen family, but my info is that Jane Lances' parents are John Lance and Hannah Prisk ref 1841 census St Agness, not Francis Lance as has been suggested.
Have you followed this up? Iam happy to be proven wrong.
