The years in colony on Benjamin Jnr's death certificate support those of his mothers.
Benjamin Welton and Mary Ann Haddon were married in the Manse Young according to the rites of the Presbyterian Church, witnesses John Richardson and Mina Alice Main the Minister was James J Main so, Mina was probably the minister's wife.

Hi, I have been investigating the death of Benjamin WELTON Junior for some time. One day I will finish it hopefully........these things go on and on sometimes.  He was living around the Wheoga/Little Carabal area near Grenfell NSW.
Benjamin Junior died after being admitted to hospital following an incident at his sisters home; and there was an inquest.  His sister Emily married a BUDGE (part of my family) and he married a HADDON whose birth was registered in a "similar" name (she was born at TUMUT I think but the details are on my other pc).  Their daughte was named Annie on the BDM register.Please be very careful in your WELTON research as their is a lot of incorrect info on various ancestry sites.  It's lenghty but the info below is correct in every detail. I am a Welton descendant in Australia too. My nan Harriet Welton immigrated to Fremantle in 1927. Our side of the Weltons I can only go back as far as John and Martha Jane (née Wakeman) of Middlesex.

I really don't have much 
John Welton born 1875 died 1946 married Martha Jane Wakeman born 1876 died 1921.
Martha Janes father was called John Wakeman... All in Paddington/Middlesex...
John and Martha Jane had 10 Children:
Harriet born 1897, Hilda 1900, John 1902, Charles 1903 (moved to Canada), Frank 1905, Alice 1908, Minnie 1910, May 1916, Fredrick 1917 and Arthur I'm not sure when.
And after Martha Jane died in 1921 John remarried to unknown and had 4 more children unknown...
