Is it worth risking a certificate, might be the only way to confirm whether she is or not

Have you tired working backwards from the information you have?

I cannot find a Schubert with a wife by the name of Bridget so far, but there are 2 births Schubert nee Linz, I believe, unless I am corrected that Francis Schubert married Elizabeth Linz same qtr are Tobin to Hearn

2 births
1914 Joseph P Schubert Poplar
1924 Richard D Schubert Stepney

There are no births listing Hearn nee Tobin

Hi

You have the 1911 details which you obviously looked up yourself.

Moderator comment: Only the Original Poster may post details from the 1911 census, others may give information from the free index only, not the images.

Birth Dec 1907 Poplar 1c 558 Catherine Hearn

Birth Mar 1911 Poplar 1c 540 Norah Hearn

and . . . . .
Birth Sep 1906 Poplar 1c 579 Margaret B Hearn
Death Mar 1911 Stepney 1c 237 Margaret B Hearn

I don't think that your marr.cert.£ will be wasted.

Thanks again,

I'll order the certificate.  I think that will be the only way to determine if this is
the right Bridget Tobin. As I mentioned already both parents died by the time
she was 8.  She had no living siblings that I am aware of.  She did have Aunts
and Uncles on her fathers side.  Checking their records I can find no clue or mention
of Bridget.  Only her grandmother took her in until she could no longer care for her.

Hope it turns out to be her  :)
