Newhall Burial Record Query

Hi all,

I have a burial record for Henry Parker (1869-1945) from southderbyshirebdm.co.uk showing his burial at St John's church, Newhall on 8th November 1945.

The age given on the burial record is 17, however on the death index records on freebmd, no 17 year old Henry Parker shows up in 1945 anywhere. A 77 year old Henry does however appear in Repton reg dist (Repton reg dist was created out of Burton Upon Trent reg dist on 1st Jan 1937).

The address on the burial record of Cricket Field, Newhall is known to be the family address.

Is this the correct burial record? Has a mistake been made? Does anyone have access to the burial records for this church & could possibly check them for me?

It's more than likely that the first 7 has been mistaken for a 1 hence 17 instead of 77
