John Day a potter married Hannah Malpass  in 1871 at Cobridge Church, Burslem

John was born in 1843 in Shropshire

Hi Gilld, I know this is a very old post but I had a Charles Day marry into my family at Longton in 1884. I think he was a hawker of pottery. His father's name was Charles, too, but I've never been able to trace him. I wonder if he was related to your Thomas?
