Hi iam looking for any info on my great aunt cienwen morgan.Her parents were Charles Morgan and Maud Morgan{Harvey}iam thinking Cienwen was born 1911-1918 in Pontypool.The only info i have is Cienwen must have married a jones.And i did hear she went by the name Cissie(is that short for Cienwen) Any help would be great many thanks.

Charles and Maud married in Pontypool in 1898 as per freebmd www.freebmd.org.uk

Freebmd also shows a birth in 1917 in Pontypool  for Cissie C Morgan - mothers maiden name Harvey so it appears Cissie was her first christian name

Difficult one.  Between 1935-1955 there are 4 Ceinwen Morgan marriages to surname Jones - none in Glamorgan and none with a middle or first name of Cissie

No marriages for a Cissie Morgan to surname Jones

I can only suggest you buy a copy of her death cert as it may show the name of her husband

Hi there.

Dont know how much more inforation you have found, but Ceinwen is my great-great aunt.  She was my great grandfathers sister.  My daughter (due in May) is set to have Ceinwen as her middle name when she arrives
