Helen Mary Dark born at sea

Does anyone have any information on Helen's family prior to her marriage in Swansea on September 1905. She married a fishmonger from Swansea, who was Thomas Aldwin Benson. In the 1911 census, her birth was recorded as born at sea. I'd appreciate any information on her and her parents please.

Possibly Samuel Dark was a seaman, there are a couple of mentions in the newspapers
1875 Captain Samuel Dark taking emigrants to NZ in 1875 on the Blairgowrie.
