Attestation 13th Dec 1915 for the 127th in CEF…..Is where it states his DOB as 25 Dec 1890, and POB as London, that he was a Labourer living in Richmond Hill (Ontario) and that his sister Ada SMITH lived at the Clarenton Hotel, Watford, Hertfordshire. George Alfred  signed this form on 16th Dec and the Commanding Officer on the 21st. It also states he was 2 years in the  Active Militia, 12th Rgmt. Described as: 5'2",  Fair Complexion, Grey Eyes, Fair Hair, CofE, Vaccination Marks on left arm

In Dec 1915 (no exact day) travelling from Canada to US, entering US at Buffalo is:
(Primary HHA)
George A SMITH  25, single.  laborer
Citizen of Canada, Irish, Tribal
Last resident of Richmond Hill, Canada
Father: Henry SMITH of -------  -------mouth, England
Destination: Buffalo, NY
Going to: No address, ----------? Emily -------------?
Place of Birth, of ------- St John, ------, London?
Description: 5'4", -----, ------, Gray Eyes.

Quality of manifest image poor - blurry, maybe someone else can make out more than I can

Cheers
