Henry clarke b 1797 -guildford

Trying to find out more information about the above name. I know he married Maria Stevens in Guildford in 1825.think I found the right baptism record for him born 1797 in Guildford but all it lists is his father William. Can anyone help find his mother for me. Henry and Maria are my 4th x gtgrandparents.

Is his place of birth consistent on census  :-\  Where have you found the christening.

yes it is consistent, found a baptism record for henry on freereg. obviously know got to prove it, but have no access to ancestry or findmypast.

The PR copy gives no more information.  There are some other christenings at Holy Trinity with father William but no mention of mother.

I've tried to trace the mother too but no luck,I'm afraid.  If you do not have access to FindMyPast and Ancestry,you may bot be aware that Henry and Maria Clark had the following children:

John  -  baptised 08 Jan 1825  Holy Trinity,Guildford.  father a tailor.
William Henry   -   baptised 02 Nov 1828  St John the Evangelist,Stoke,near Guildford.
Arthur Augustus   -   baptised  17 Oct 1830  St Nicholas,Guildford.  father a tailor
Charles  -  born c. 1831 Guildford.
George  -  born c. 1833  Guildford.
Henry  -  baptised 24 Aug 1834  St Nicholas,Guildford. father a tailor.  buried 01 Jan 1843 St John the Evangelist,Stoke,nr. Guildford.
Mary Ann Elizabeth   -   baptised 02 Oct 1836  St Nicholas,Guildford.  father a tailor.
Rebecca  -  baptised 04 Mar 1838  St Nicholas.Guildford.  father a tailor.
Maria  -  baptised 11 Aug 1839  St Nicholas,Guildford.  father a labourer.
Joseph  -  baptised 14 Nov 1841 St Nicholas,Guildford. father a tailor.
Betsey  -  born 1844 Guildford.

thank you for that list of children, I actually only had Henry and Maria, so adding more siblings
will be a bonus for me.
