Alfred James Gill I think his service number is 1569560 from the NA website its the only AJ Gill.

Hi Alex, l think as Drew says the address is Cranwell now, probably on the form you download anyway. Dont think they are at Innsworth any more.

I seem to remember it was £30 if not next of kin, and l waited about 5 weeks.

Just depends on the volume of work they may have, but well worth the wait.

No problem with the mistake Drew, l used to think Sherlock Holmes was an estate agent! LOL

I sent the form mentioned but it was the wrong one for deceased RAF personnel. I then sent the right one with all the documents they  asked for and got a letter back asking for 30 pounds even though I stated I was his immediate family and his parents and spouse were deceased. Out of my price range at this time. It only covers Spouse and Parents? Wouldnt be many parents left now I wouldnt think.

Service records are only free for the service person and their wife/husband. Everyone else has to pay £30.
