I have looked through the passenger lists for sarah casey they would all be a bit late  I think 1893 etc so it looks like she was married before she went

 :D Hi Doran54, when i was given the Casey family line a few years ago it did have Sarah has married but!! did not say who to ??? again if a marriage certificate exists i would try and get hold of it as it might i suppose have Sarah's mother or father named, my 3x great grandad Bernard
{ Barny died 1856 } or perhaps her older  brother give her away, mind you he couldn't read or write but i'm sure he or she would have been recorded.
Thanks for all time and kindness shown by all, perhaps i haven't lost Sarah after all.

it wouldn't matter about not reading writing they would make their mark.  I don't know much about Scottish marriages ,if she was married there must be a certificate :) I'm sure some one will find something for you  I will look again later ;) I haven't got access to scotlands people though  :-\

Derek there is a marriage on the old parish records for a Sarah Cassey which takes place in the Gorbals.This marriage was not RC and is on Scotlands People.

have you searched family search? there some immigrations on there haven't got time to look now  there is a marriage 21 oct 1858 but its the wrong one her parents were  john &mary

Sarah had an older sister Mary and a brother John but they wouldn't go down as parents ??? would they.

Hi Derek I have no other info on the marriage, on An***try the information is exactly the same as Family search,I searched on Scotlands People but you would have to purchase credits to see the actual image,even then it might not contain,confirm if the parents were Bernard and Elizabeth.
When you go to SP you have to register to access the full search,its only your email and a user/password that you need,trust me if I can do it so can you ;)
