India: looking for Charlotte SNOW, servant

Although several people called Charlotte SNOW appear in the 1841 census none of them seem to be the one I am looking for.

In 1851 Charlotte was working as cook to the HARRISON family of Little Munden in Hertfordshire.   The family had lived in India for many years (9 children born there) and I am wondering if she might have been in India with them.

Would there be any way of checking if she did travel to India?   Also, might I be able to find out where she lived?
