You haven't given any details of his age when he died or from a census entry nor have you included any birthplace for him from a census entry.  Whereabouts in Surrey was he born?

I have his parents down as William Tubb and Martha Wood and he was born in 1791. I just need to confirm if they were his parents

His father William was definately Tubb and I think Thomas was Tubbs

The problem is that the surname altered slightly in terms of spelling, the s sometimes was removed or added.

Susanna was still alive by 1816 as that was when her latest child was born.

If you think he died in 1863 - then he should be on the 1851 and 1861 censuses - have you looked?
