So do you know where Charlotte and James were born?  On the freeregs t ere are several James Parson bap in Surrey, no bap for Charlotte Banks in Surrey.

So the 1841 census should say where they were living and if they were born in the same County andthe 1851 will/should tell you where they were born

For example there is a Charlotte Parsons in the 1881 census down as Mother in Law, the head of the house is Henry Fry and wife Elizabeth and Charlotte was born in Kendal, Westmorland

That one is in the register for St Bartholomew, Horley.  Edward and Mary Bankes also baptised Ann 25 Ocober 1801,  William 13 January 1805 and Lucy 4 July 1813. The last entry records that Edward is a farmer.

The marriage of James Parsons and Charlotte Banks was by licence. Witnesses were Samuel and Mary Parsons.  The marriage allegation dated 15 April 1834 states that James Parsons is of the parish of Charleswood, a bachelor aged 26. Charlotte Banks is of the parish of Horley, spinster aged 23.
