Hi my grandfather was born in Tinwald Dumfriesshire in 1887 and married Jean Davidson.
I'm having trouble finding their marriage records and also their children of which I believe there was one called Alexander. Also I am looking for information on Matthew's brother Benjamin's children.
I cannot find where Matthew is buried but I do know where his wife Jean is buried.

Benjamin died New Zealand... Death record for Mathew Houston in 1950 Maffria Victoria aged 63 list his father as Alex.. Mother Mary ..
Tree has picture of Mathew and a second marriage to a Clarice McMillan Smith in 1935 ...She is on the Australian Electoral Rolls
1919 Electoral Rolls Mathew's address is C/o Young 10 Cameron Street Wonthaggi occupation Electrician

I couldn't see a marriage on Scotlands People so maybe married in Australia
1891 Census for Scotland he is listed as the Grandson of Alexander Houston and Mary they are living at Bankhead Cottage Tinwald Dumfiesshire
