Bossidy, McDonnell & Barry Family Branches

Need connections with the Bossidy surname from Tallow, county Waterford, Ireland and the McDonnell surname from perhaps the same area, however, for sure Castlelyons, county Waterford, Ireland.  Castlelyons would also serve an Ellen with the surname 'Barry'.

My research show they went through Columbia county, New York before residing in West Stockbridge, Berkshire county, Massachusetts.

Waterfordcountylibrary.ie has a Mary Bossidy who died at Lismore Workhouse on 24th Jan 1865 aged 84 she was a labourers widow, its in the death register of the family history section.

Thank you very much for your help.  Your input put me in a key resource I wasn't aware of, thanks.  I did find McDonnell's in Tallow and used the other library tools.  I'll now center on looking for John McDonnell and his sister Ellen McDonnell and hopefully their parents in Tallow.

My Barry ancestors came from Tallow, Waterford, Ireland as well.  I can go back to ancestor, Richard Barry, born about 1770, wife unknown.  He had at least two sons, John Richard Barry born about 1790 and he emigrated to Newfoundland, Canada in 1812.  His other son, Thomas Barry was married to Bridgit Cosgrove and their son, John Thomas Barry, 1820=1887 was my ancestor.  He emigrated to Prince Edward Island (PEI) around 1852.  He settled first in Lot 22, Hope River where other Irish families like Fleming, Hogan, Harrington and Cosgrove also lived. 

I have a posting on Rootchat yesterday, May 3/2015 with information on my Barry line.  I would appreciate if you would share your Barry Tallow family with me, so I can connect or establish which branch they come from.   Good luck with your research.
