Hi I am looking for the siblings and parents of a man called John William Howells b.1902 from West Bromwich? He is the great grandfather of a friend of mine any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

1911 census is available on FamilySearch.org but only for individuals. You would need to search for John William Howells and then look for other Howells in the same area and see if you can compile a family.   Your local library might have a subscription for Ancestry where you could look for him, hopefully with his family.

Other siblings Isabella Jane Sep 1904 West Bromwich  ,Roger George born June 1909 Swansea,
Joseph C Dec 1913 Swansea,Margaret Dec 1916 Swansea,George S Mar 1920 Swansea.

The parents  married at Walsall Dec 1895 6b 1182 George Howells and Harriet Emily Hillman.

George died June 1921 and Harriet  seems to have remarried a Thomas Britton in 1923 and died June 1946.

I can't find George in 1891 but here is in 1881 at Darlaston 23 Factory St

Margaret 39 Wellington Shrops.
William Parker 14 nephew nut maker Shifnall
George Howell 6 nephew  Ferry Hill Durham.

1891 adds son George 1 and daughter Jane 1 and Harriet has magically become Eleanor but they are at same address.
1901 back of mill St
Roger 43 galvaniser,Sarah Ann 44,Jane 18 ,George 11.Roger 6 an  Charles4.
The couple married at Walsall 24.12.1876
Roger son of Benjamin age 21 and Sarah Cail 19 d of John Cail.
Will see what else i can find on George's side but they are proving difficult.

1871 William/Margaret have William Parker born c 1867, Shropshire, Nephew, with them in Tipton, Staffs.

Hi people! I am researching the same group of people. George Howells who was brought up by William Howells and his wife Margaret, was the son of Margaret's brother. The father of George was a Brewster. George's mother was Rosa of a "Romany Gypsy" family. Rosa died "in childbirth". My husband's grandmother told me this. Her father, was the George Howells of your research.
