William Hinchliffe - born 3 August 1923 - Canton, Massachusetts died 24 July 2011 - Northbridge City, Massachusetts.

Obituary (with photograph) :-  William J. Hinchliffe, 87, of Uxbridge died Sunday July 24, 2011 at home. He was the husband of the late Vera A. (Trumbour) Hinchliffe who died in 2005.

He was born Aug. 3, 1923 in Canton, the son of the late Lester and Margaret (Graham) Hinchliffe and attended Canton High School.

Mr. Hinchliffe served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army during WWII, receiving the Purple Heart and Silver Service Star.

Wilfred F Hinchliffe son of lester Hinchliffe and Margaret Graham

Wilfred F. Hinchliffe age 90 of West Bridgewater died Wednesday May 19, 2010 - son of the late Lester and Margaret (Graham) Hinchliffe and had resided in West Bridgewater since 1959.
During WWII Mr. Hinchliffe served in the US Navy stationed in England. For 27 years he was employed at the former Forte Fair Bain Textile Company in Needham. Mr Hinchliffe retired from South Eastern Regional Vocation High School having worked there as a custodian and bus driver. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed outdoor gardening. He had also been a volunteer at My Brothers Keeper in Easton since it started in 1988. Mr Hinchliffe leaves 106 descendants. etc etc

Wife of the above - Marilyn V Hinchliffe - 29 March 2011 West Bridgewater.

Marilyn V. (Clark) Hinchliffe age 87 of West Bridgewater died Sunday March 27, 2011 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center after a period of failing health. She was the devoted wife for 64 years of the late Wilfred F. Hinchliffe - Mrs. Hinchliffe leaves 108 descendants etc etc

This is probably Elizabeth Hinchliffe Woods - 1 Sept 1930 and died 14 May 2007.

The 1900 Census showed Edward with a wife Elizabeth and 2 sons in Newark NJ - Prsume he remarried to Mary later  ???
