you wouldn't get a birth cert for those dates, civil registration started in July 1837, so before that, only parish entries. The records of the baptisms are available on Findmypast, so you could check the scan of the registers to see if there's any useful info.
Who were the witnesses at Edward's marriage?

I haven't found a will that's helpful for this generation of your family, but the NLW has one for a Richard Mills of Garthbeibio written 3/3/1763, probate 2/5/1778. Richard was a yeoman and left bequests to his oldest son Evan & other sons Richard, Matthew, David, Edward, Shôn & Robert and wife Jane. This could well be Edward's family.

Hello everyone.
I'm very interested in the Mills family since I have an Israel Mills in my family. Did he marry Margaret Watkin in 1815 at Llanerfyl? I think it may well be the same family but will await confirmation.

Lleucu

Hello Wendy,
Yes it does look as though we're talking about the same family. There's a bit of a mystery about Israel, he seem to have abandoned his family around 1830 for some reason and moved to pastures new.
Is there any info on this in your family lore?
Lleucu

Be careful with the Mills family. They were non-conformists from early times.
